why do pigs like mud?

Today i am going to be writing about pigs! yes pigs they are just my favourite animal but i don`t know why so that is why i`m going to be writing about pigs lets get started and enjoy💖.Did you know that pigs were introduced in the 1500`s.Just because pigs like to roll in mud, don`t assume that they`re dirty animals. ... To help there skin from a sunburn, pigs use mud as a form of sunscreen. when mud dries on there skin, it forms a barrier against the sun`s harmful ultraviolet rays.A good thick layer of mud also helps to protect pigs from insects.
